Some Christians believe that he Broke the Sabbath.
Here is something that was posted to me from someone on myspace.(note i'm not using this post to start an agruement with the one who sent it.I'm useing as an example on how some of us are confused on)
Jesus broke the sabbath, and was judged by the pharisees for it, no where in the bible does it say we have to worship on the sabbath, it says to remember it and keep it holy

The Sabbath is an holy convocation. We should meet and (worship) with others. Leviticus 23
No where in the Bible!
Isaiah 66:22-24Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to (worship) before me, saith the LORD.
Then they go and say!
i worship every day, i honor the lord every day
Thats great you should worship the lord everyday!
What is the Sabbath?
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." "And on the (seventh day) God ended his work which he had made; and he (rested) on the (seventh day) from all his work which he had made. And God (blessed) the (seventh day), and sanctified it." Genesis 1:1; 2:2, 3.
It's a day of rest! It's the Seventh day! It is blessed!
It is santified!
The Sabbath is a time to lay our burdens down and rest. We should not do any servile work on the Sabbath. This includes our entire family, even our servants and beasts of burden and strangers who live among us. Jeremiah 17; Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5
We should be reverent and show God that we love, honor, and respect His authority. Psalm 89:7, Habakkuk 2:20
"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God." Deuteronomy 4:2. "Every word of God is pure. ... Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." Proverbs 30:5, 6.God has specifically and positively forbidden men to change His law by deletions or additions. To tamper with God's holy law in any way is one of the most fearful and dangerous things a person can do. God's law is good and a blessing. "Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good." Romans 7:12 "But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed." James 1:25Jesus said "Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:18-19

but when someone comes on here and tells people they are going to hell if they do not worship on the sabbath,(I agree that no one should say that you are going to hell)

they are adding to the finished work of christ,(The sabbath is not adding to Jesus finished work.It is rest from his finished work.It is a fact that he slept in the tomb on the sabbath!He rose on the first day..Without Grace we were under the penality of death when one broke the law.But you still need to keep it.No one wants any one to steal,murder,commit adultry with your wife or husband.so all the commandments are of equal value.)
2 John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
1 John 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

and are a cult,,(A cult for doing God's commandments wow then I guess those who follows the Lord's Teachings is a cult)(Christians Under the Lord's Teachings)So I guess your right Praise the Lord for as long as I follow Jesus teachings I will be decieved.)

it may sound harsh but that is the truth,,(Becuse you say so!wow run to the hills persucution has begun next everyone will be lit on fire becouse they say that they are a cult.Just like Cathlics calling Protostents hertics and burning them at the stake.It may sound harsh but that! is the truth read your history book.Harsh words like that leads people to those ideals killing in the name of God.Jesus never wanted us to kill any one.He says love everyone as i have loved you.)

do you follow all the laws of the sabbath,
(No Seventh Day Adventist do not follow the traditional laws of the Sabbath.The jews added all the laws as the rabbi you talked to said)
Then they go and say!
there is not a complete list in the bible that list all the things that sabbath keeping entails
(the the ones the jews added were not biblical),
even a jewish rabbi told me this, much of it was passed down in tradition, not in the torah,, or any sacred writing.(thats right its not)
Matthew 15:9-11Mt 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:" Mark 2:27
The Jews put all those laws other than the biblical ones around the sabbath after they left Babylon.
Jesus was trying to teach us how to keep the sabbath
the way he made it.

i think different things i have written bear that out, but i will defend the gospel against anyone who comes against it, when i have young christians crying to me, asking why these other christians are being so hateful, then i respond to it, many that make these sabbath statements, that is all they talk about, they cheapen Gods grace, and his love, and his law,
(I agree none of us should come across hateful)
but talking about the sabbath does not cheapen God's grace,love or his law the sabbath is part of the law.
the law is part of our love when we follow it.)
John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
(Our love for Jesus will help us keep his commandments.)
His love gave us grace.)
John 15:13-14 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
